my mind is all over the place

fayetteville was wonderful.  it was great to see so much of my family and to visit my home church and have lunch with my mentor and just enjoy fayetteville.  dad took us to eat at hugo's today and to see The Dark Knight.  we also watched 10things i hate about you, so it was fun to see heath ledger in such different roles.  dark knight was great, by the way.

shelby forbes was a friend of mine from highschool.  we worked together at shake's when it was still called shakey's and we had a couple classes together as well.  i'd see her around fayetteville a lot, she worked at my favorite restaurant hugo's and she was always so fun to catch up with.  really a nice girl.  this weekend i found out she was killed in an accident back in june, she was jogging and was hit by a car.  so so sad.  of course, i wasnt super close to her, but she was my age, and she was so sweet.  its hard to believe she's gone.  i will definitely miss talking with her when im in fayetteville.

moving lindsay came and packed up the rest of our kitchen.  we just have to pack our bedding and finish our laundry and that's about it.  its crazy to be so close.  on top of that, its the hottest time of the summer, and there's supposed to be some "severe" weather this week.  oh no.

also, timmy's family is going to meet us in keokuk, and a couple friends from joplin are probably coming up with us as well!  very exciting.  so we'll be in keokuk from wednesday to friday and we'll probably be able to get entirely unpacked.  we're glad!
