in hindsight...

so the interview was crazy.  they weren't hard questions, they just caught us off guard.  i dont know what we were expecting, but we definitely weren't expecting what we got.  maybe we were naieve?  maybe it was just a strange interview?  it was four hours long.  

we just kind of left feeling like, "what happened?"  realizing that they don't know us at all, and are judging us by a piece of paper, a few references and a four hour conversation was kind of a heavy revelation.  

we are praying we get called back for a second interview.  we would love to help the kids at their church trust ministers and the church and God again.  but we know this is all in God's hands.  we've been praying a lot, they've been praying a whole lot, so we're at rest with whatever comes.  but it sure would be nice to go :)

also last night, timmy's car got stuck in about four feet of water.  he didn't know how deep it was until he was too far into it to go any farther.  weird to see your hubby in his car up to the doorhandles in water.  lots of thoughts go though your mind.  two guys came out of nowhere (angels probably) and helped timmy out of his car and everything.  it was a bazaar situation.  but everything is fine.  timmy is fine which is absolutely most important.  at first i was upset but then i realized that it was a total accident.  there was no way he could have known how deep it was.  it was so strange.
